IADB Congratulates PII

The Inter-American Development Bank congratulates HADCO Phase II Pan Groove on 50 years of Excellence in Community and Music

On Wednesday June 22, 2022, representatives of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Executive of Pan Trinbago paid a courtesy call to HADCO Phase II Pan Groove at their facility on 13 Hamilton Street, Woodbrook.

Included in the contingent were this country’s Minister of Planning and Development, the Honourable Pennelope Beckles-Robinson, M.P., the Chief Executive Officer of IDB Invest, Mr. James Scriven, IDB Country Representative, Carina Cockburn, IDB Division Chief – Financial Institutions, Ms. Marisela Alvarenga, President of Pan Trinbago, Mrs. Beverly Ramsey-Moore, and various Directors of the IDB NextGen Board. The delegation also included first-time visitors to our shores.

Following light entertainment from HADCO Phase II Pan Groove, IDB’s Trinidad and Tobago Country Representative, Carina Cockburn, expressed her gratitude for the evening’s preparations and presented a special award commemorating the band’s 50th anniversary. She also highlighted the sustainable role that the orchestra continues to play in the promotion of inclusion, diversity, and innovation as essential pillars in the economic development of people and communities.
